Often with FTP Server providers your end users will be required or expected to connect to the service using FTP Client software (FileZilla, WinSCP, Cyberduck to name a few). Your clients and suppliers also have the option to use either FTP software or the web interface with the same account which reduces administration for the FTP site manager who creates one account for that user. Additionally, the web based interface supports 256bit encryption using SSL (the same technology used when you logon to your online banking) which means your clients and/or suppliers have a convenient and yet secure mechanism to exchange files with your business.
