What is the thing that
people tend to demand on their holidays, more than anything else? We’re not
talking about great bars and restaurants, swimming pools the size of football
pitches, stunning museums or even great prices for accommodation… what we’re
really referring to is sun, and lots of it. We’re in famously short supply of
it here in the UK (occasional heatwaves notwithstanding!), but those buying
from the generous selection of used
caravans for sale at Albion Caravans (http://www.albioncaravans.co.uk) who
take their new purchase to Spain will be delighted to discover that the country
offers so much more than sunshine.
This is a country, after
all, that features everything from traditional Spanish fiestas and sleepy villages
to UNESCO World Heritage Sites and amazing coastlines. There really couldn’t be
a much attractive place to make the most of the many practical benefits of used touring caravans, and there’s
a little something for everyone. Nor is there a shortage of great Caravan Club
caravan sites, from Ribamar in a dramatic location between the Mediterranean
hills and the scenic Costa del Azahar, a mere 19 miles from the coastal town of
Benicassim, to L’Amfora, which is located in the gorgeous Rosas bay, just over
an hour away from the Pyrenean mountains.
Sometimes, people who have
bought from our selection of caravans
for sale in West Yorkshire are happy to just while the days away on the
beach once they arrive in Spain. But for others, it’s the big cities that they
just can’t miss. The capital, Madrid, is certainly an obvious place to visit,
and you won’t be disappointed by attractions such as the splendid Palacio Real
royal palace or one of the world’s most famous art museums, the Museo del Prado
– just one part of the famous ‘Golden Triangle of Art’. Or maybe you’d prefer
to just sit and watch the world go by in Madrid’s most famous square, the
Puerta del Sol?
Other major cities that
can’t be missed by those taking their cheap used caravans
to Spain include Barcelona, a clear choice if Gaudi architecture – such as the
unfinished La Sagrada Familia cathedral – is your thing. Another creation of
Gaudi’s, Parc Guell, is replete with crazy designs and jaw-dropping statues. Or
why not head to the home of both bullfighting and the flamenco dance, Seville?
A visit to both a flamenco show and the Plaza
de Toros de la Maestranza might therefore be in the offing, as could a visit to
Malaga, where the attractions include the 13th century ruins of
Gibralfaro Castle. A little further out, one can find the Caves of Nerja, which
are among the most impressive caves on the continent.
Certainly, continental travel is frequently
extremely convenient when you buy one of our used
caravans in Yorkshire to use on your break. Peruse the Albion Caravans
website at http://www.albioncaravans.co.uk
now, to see just how impressive a caravan you could afford to bring to this
sought-after part of Europe.
