Marbella seeing plenty of investment amid encouraging signs for Spanish property market

The last few years haven't been the easiest of times for the Spanish property market in the wake of the economic crash, but it has certainly allowed many people to land some fine deals for Marbella villas, and now, there's further good news of greater optimism for the whole country. All the while, Marbella Dream Living (http://www.marbelladreamliving.com) has continued to cement its reputation as the St. Tropez of southern Spain, with big name investors like Bill Gates taking an interest.

The more positive outlook for the Spanish property market will please many of those considering Marbella villas, with official figures for the third quarter of 2013 from the National Institute of Statistics showing higher house prices in several Spanish regions. But Marbella seems to have received a particularly strong injection of cash in recent years, spearheaded by the new €400m port, Al-Thani at La Bajadilla. Microsoft founder Bill Gates also gave Spain a major vote of confidence recently with his $155m investment in the Spanish construction giant, FCC (Fomento de Construcciones & Contratas).

The philanthropist's intervention should make investors in Spain and Marbella villas sit up and take notice, his multi-million dollar portfolio attesting to the fact that he rarely gets such calls wrong. But he isn't the only one helping to restore Spain's economy to its former strength, with another leading player in the Costa del Sol being Real Capital Solutions - Spain. This November saw the launch of 53 beachfront apartments into the Marbella property sales market by the American Investment Fund, which intends to spend the next decade investing capital into property in the Costa del Sol.

RCS Spain is soon expected to be confirmed as the biggest provider of southern Spain real estate in the international market, with plans for further property development releases over the coming months further testifying to its influence in the region. Prospective or current owners of Marbella villas are sure to welcome RCS Spain's investment efforts. It already has a strong reputation for purchasing and restoring distressed properties, and as CEO Marcel Arsenault has commented: "We have a strong understanding that most problems in the real estate business are solved with expertise, not just money."

With George Clooney reportedly among the most recent customers for Marbella villas, it's clear that this majestic city, already hugely popular with the rich and famous on account of its fine climate, charming Moorish architecture with narrow, cobbled streets and thriving arts and culture scene, is continuing to win approval with the people who really matter. It's one more reason for many of those considering entering this market to begin searching online for Marbella villas now.
