So continuing that theme, today we want to take a closer look at the Apollo products we stock.

Apollo fire products are used across the globe and the company are trusted manufacturers of top quality fire alarms and fire detector equipment. Apollo´s Alarm Sense range has been developed as a two wire system to make the installation of a fire detection and alarm system easier and more economic for small to medium sized buildings; what’s more the ´range´s ability to modify or extend existing systems makes it ideal for installations in houses in multiple occupation (HMO). The Alarm Sense range includes the 2 zone fire alarm kit that includes a conventional fire alarm panel 2 sealed lead acid batteries, a fused spur isolator, 2 manual call point, a heat detector with sounder base, 5 optical smoke detectors with sounder base, 2 manual call point fire action signs and a fire log book.

Their Series 65 offering is a range of conventional fire detectors that employ tried and tested technology coupled with advances materials and electronics making them even more efficient. We stock them at great prices too.

The XP95 range is a slightly higher end selection compared to Series 65 and feature analogue addressable fire detectors including optical smoke detectors, ionisation smoke detectors, multi detectors and heat detectors all of which are the latest in design. The range also features a selection of switching and control units, sounder beacons as well as two great weatherproof multi tone sounders.

XPander is Apollo's wireless intelligent detector range. Wireless solutions are great for areas where traditional installation methods are problematic. It could be that the sheer physical spaces are restrictive or that the use of wiring is prohibited by the building’s owner, a great example of which is in historic buildings where the fabric of the building itself needs to retain its original integrity. It’s a system where individual detectors, call points and alarm devices communicate with the XP95 loop by radio signals.
