The status of Albion Caravans (http://www.albioncaravans.co.uk) as
one of the leading used
caravan dealers in West Yorkshire leaves us well-placed to advise caravan
buyers and owners on some of the events that they just can't miss this year. As
August continues and we see out the last weeks of the summer (it's
disappointing, we know!), we feel it's a good time to point you in the
direction of a major caravan show taking place in another part of God's Own
County.
That event is, of course, the annual Cottingham
Parks Lodge and Caravan Show in East Yorkshire, where record crowds are
expected when the free-to-attend event opens to the public on 7th and 8th
September. This will be followed by three days, from 10th to 12th September,
when it is open to the trade. So in short, if you have ever turned to us for a second hand caravan for
sale in West Yorkshire, you really ought to be in attendance - not least as
more than 20 businesses have now pledged to participate.
The event has been running for more than a
decade, and this year, as many as 5,000 visitors are expected to show up across
the week. It's a very significant date in the calendar for the region's caravan
and lodge manufacturers, making the show a fine place to discover some of the
new and updated models - the cheap used caravans
of the future! In addition, an exhibition of Toyota four-wheel drives will be held,
and ground care equipment shown off.
One
man who is certainly looking forward to the event is Cottingham Parks Golf and
Leisure Club managing director John Wiles, who commented: "The show has become an important part of our calendar
and we look forward to welcoming customers and exhibitors to this year's event.
Visitors will be able to view the latest static caravans, lodges, tourers and
camping pods, and enjoy entertainment and refreshments."
Wiles said that both the public and trade found the show "fantastic",
stating that a "free fun day out" was promised for weekend visitors
accompanied by their families, while trade customers had the opportunity to
view many of the top manufacturers in an attractive setting. In words that
ought to be music to the ears of those considering used
caravans in West Yorkshire, Wiles added that this year's event was
"set to be our biggest and best yet."
Naturally, the Cottingham Parks Lodge and Caravan Show is hardly
the only important event over the coming weeks and months for those
contemplating the purchase of used
touring caravans in West Yorkshire - with others including the UK Autumn
Motorhome & Caravan Show in Newark, Nottinghamshire on 31st August and 1st
September, as well as The Motorhome Show in Lincoln later in September. But
here at Albion Caravans (http://www.albioncaravans.co.uk),
we'd recommend this one to those looking to get their autumn caravanning season
off to an exciting start.
